In the spring of 2019, I had the privilege of being a design assistant for The Swinging Bridge, a student run magazine at Messiah College. Working as a
team with editors and photographers, we produced three cohesive magazines a semester on a very tight deadline. Once assigned a spread, I had creative liberty to depict the article as I saw fit, whether that was using vector illustrations, photography, or collage.

These two spread have opposing views on the topic of homeschooling - one is for, the other against. Through varying imagery, I portray the difference of opinions the articles convey.
HOMESCHOOLING SPREADS
AGAINST HOMESCHOOLING -
This article tells how children are separated from others when they are homeschooled.
FOR HOMESCHOOLING -
Through bright colors and white space, I show how homeschooling is a positive experience for children.
